I think all breeders have their own personal experiences and tips,I would like to share mine with others.
When bathing my AHT's,I first start out with soaking the skin with warm water(to open the skin pores)I then use a soap that is used for us humans private area,it is a very sensetive soap, and has shown me good results on all my dogs. When i'm done with the shampooing the dog,I wash it off(no rubbing on the dogs skin)with warm water. then make sure to close the skin pores, starting from the neck and down, I switch from warm water to cold water, over the entire body very quick
USE OF LOTION!
I DON'T USE ANY LOTION.
I BELIVE THE SKIN NEEDS TO BREATH.
Instead of lotion I use E vitamin oil on the skin and a table spoon a day for them to take oral.
E vitamin is available at any health stores.
